How to discover your strengths

28 December 2016
Okay, so you've taken on board the advice - you want to PLAY TO your strengths MORE - but YOU don't know what they are. i tell you How to DISCOVER them in this article. and the good news is - it's easy!
Watch this short video now.

The best and simplest thing to do is to buy one of these two books - either 'Strengths Finder 2.0' or 'Strengths Based Leadership'. Both are by Tom Rath and you can buy them for around £15 on Amazon.

Shortly, I'll explain the difference between the two, but first why buy?

At the back of each new book, there is a unique code that enables you to take the online Strengths Finder survey to discover your strengths. After doing the survey, you'll receive a bespoke report telling you what your top 5 strengths are.

When I got my report, and when my clients get theirs, I'm always surprised by how accurate they are. The report really speaks to people.

In some ways, the report won't tell you anything you don't already know because your strengths are innate in you and you do innately know what they are. But it's like the water that you swim in, you've forgotten what they are, because they are so innate in you. You've stopped noticing them. So having a report to tell you what your top 5 strengths are is very, very useful.

Okay, so of the two books which should you buy? 'Strengths Finder 2.0' or 'Strengths Based Leadership'?

Both books give you access to the same online survey that's based on extensive research by Gallup. The difference is that when you buy 'Strengths Based Leadership' (and use that code), you get to know the themes within which your top 5 strengths fall which tells you what your preferred, natural leadership style is. Which you buy depends on what you want to know. It's up to you!

Don't delay. Click on one of the images to the right now, go to Amazon and buy either 'Strengths Finder 2.0' or 'Leadership Based Strengths'. Do it NOW!

I believe knowing and using your top strengths is one of the keys to feeling more fulfilled at work. That's what I've found and so do my clients. And I want that for you too.
